Job Details Information Technology: systems development, business analysis, architecture, project management, data warehousing, infrastructure, maintenance and productionJob PurposeProvide Technical Leadership to the Peripheral Support teamProvide development with respect to Peripheral systems where requiredProvide technical support on all systems under Peripheral portfolio to users across the bank.Ensuring that the requisite functionality is provided for all systems supportedKey Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Responsibilities + Skills

Maintain availability and integrity of applications supported Troubleshoot failures on all channels systems and escalate to Level II and Vendor where necessary Reviewing and installation of new releases of software, service packs and patches Monitoring applications and ensuring they perform optimally


Provide Technical Leadership to the Support resources looking after peripheral applications Facilitate effective transfer of skills and knowledge to the support team Maintain UAT, DR and production environments


Monitoring and managing database backups and restorations Undertake major database change management procedures Perform database planning activities: including capacity planning, security and integrity planning Undertake performance tuning, index generation and view creation and maintenance according to country/group requirements for production/UAT and Testing environments
