Technician (Building Controller)

Job Description

The primary responsibilities of the successful incumbent will be the generalmaintenance of the building and troubleshooting of problems; liaising withcontractors, maintenance staff and School personnel.S/he will also be required to provide first line IT support, support/maintenance of theSchool Bizhubs and access control into the building. S/he is expected to ensureefficient functioning of the gas banks and safe receipt of equipment in the School.The incumbent is required to assist the technical manager in restructuring andpreparing work areas and offices.

Responsibilities + Skills

Proven experience in word processing and spreadsheetShort-listed candidates may be required to undergo a skills test.

Education

Appointment to this post will be on the January 2018 Conditions of Service.The total remuneration package offered includes benefits.The closing date for receipt of applications is 30 April 2019.

Matric and three year relevant tertiary qualificationTwo years relevant work experience in a tertiary environment
