Test Analyst Team Leader

Job PurposeWe are seekin an experience Non Functial Team Lead for a role within Nedbank Insurance. This incumbent will process the extensive experience within development and test lead skills. The purpose of this role is to:Execution of the test methodology and resource capacity plans;Manage all test deliverable for internal and external delivery teams;Pursue automation and new testing tools/technologies.Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for performance management of all resources assigned to initiatves (e.g. perfomance contracts, development plans, poor performance and improvement plans, and review) within the tribe.Ensure the team dynamics are health (coaching and mentoring, assist with decision makin, encourage self-organisation and assist with prioritisation).Ensure the Team Lead(s) and Test Engineers time sheets are created and signed off timeously.Responsible for the overall budget allocated for the Enterprise Quality Assurance tribe.Responsible to align to the Finance Office SLA and hold the Vendor, Suppliers and Labour Broker accountable.Seek opportunites that will introduce cost efficiencies for the tribe and organisation.Work closely with project manager, scrum master, product owner, and any other stakeholders to meet the expectations of our clients.Build and foster deep relationship with peers, subject matter expert, developer, product owner and other stakeholders through honest communication which is aligned to the Nedbank Values.Liaise with stakeholder across Group Technology to build a network that will align to the nWoW.Participate in the backlog grooming of the tribe.

Responsibilities + Skills

Track progress of all test deliverables across the test phases against the project plan and ensure reporting metrics refers too and provides an update on each.Review and signoff all test artefacts (e.g. test plan(s), reviews(s), lessons learned)Pro-actively manage the product risk and communicate to the delivery team the detail and the mitigatng factors.


Participate in the sprint planning, test estimation and success criteria per story of the tribe.Responsible for the test methodology, execution and resource capacity plan(s).Manage all test deliverable for internal and external delivery teams.Provide input t the service forms with Vendors, Suppliers and Labour Brokers.


Encourage business participation and input where necessary.Produe the final closeout report that summarises the implementation of the initiative.Collaborate with peers and industry experts to understand technical advances and it's application within the Nedbank Eco-system.
