Do you find chemistry exciting and technology too? Then simply combine both interests with an apprenticeship at Sasol Wax to become a chemist.In the middle of Hamburg, conveniently located directly at the port, we manufacture paraffins and petroleum jelly. Our dedicated chemists make a significant contribution to this in production, laboratory and maintenance. On the one hand, they are responsible for controlling the automated systems and monitor the production processes. They take and analyze samples and readjust the systems if necessary. In this way, they ensure high quality from the raw material to the finished product. Eliminating malfunctions and minor repair work on the systems are also part of everyday life. And that's not all, because chemists also know what is important when filling and loading chemical substances of different hazard classes. Together with your colleagues from logistics, you ensureSounds exciting? It is! You will get to know all of these areas of responsibility and a few more during your apprenticeship and will soon take on tasks independently in a team.
