Sasolburg Operations (SO) is an integrated facility that includes the Sasol One, Sasol Midland and Sasol Bunsen sites responsible for the production of base and performance chemicals. We also produce electricity and other utilities and provide site support services to enable the manufacturing process on all sitesABOUT THE ROLE / PURPOSE OF THE JOBTo develop a functional strategy (Corporate Affairs) that supports Group and region OME business strategic objectivesBuild, maintain and nurture relationships with Sasol’s key and major stakeholders (amongst others fence line communities and government)Reputation Management: Position and profile Sasol as a credible and trusted social partner in Sasolburg

Responsibilities + Skills

Optimize the cost of Corporate Affairs and functional supportOversees the provision of core Corporate Affairs servicesOversees hub-wide corporate communicationManage external and internal communications.

Education

Drive social change in communities closest to Sasol operations (be a social activist)Support, facilitate and ensure governance, compliance to policies, procedures and legislative framework that prescribes operating license requirementsEnsures alignment with functional group standards
