JOB TITLE: In house workshop repair technician - Commercial appliances equipment & Domestic Home Appliance (Cape Town office) General Summary: We are looking for a workshop appliance repair technician. The technician will be required to repair and service Domestic home appliances (washers & dryers), and commercial appliances equipment (washers, dryers & handheld irons) distributed by COMPANY.Product range and brands: The product range consist of Top loader washing machines, Front loader washing machines, Tumble driers, Handheld Irons.DETAILS OF FUNCTION: An appliance repair technician is required to troubleshoot and carry repairs on washers, driers typically found in home environment or a launderette. Applicants need to be familiar with the dismantling, reassembling processes and fault diagnosis to provide an accurate report and repair estimate. The technician must be able to identify and replace any defective components found in above mentioned appliances. Technicians are also required to keep accurate records of their time spent on each task, provide detailed job sheets and manage their spares inventory accurately. Good communication skills, good customer service skills and a clean driver's license record is essential.
