Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Finance to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Finance in designing, producing, and reviewing financial reports, insights, and analytics to enable strategic decision-making across the organisation.Oversee the production and analysis of comprehensive financial reports, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and other non-financial informationCollaborate with Financial Managers and the Reporting team to deliver high-quality, impactful business reports that meet agreed standards, formats, and timelinesProvide strategic insights and recommendations to support the achievement of business objectives across various units, clients, and sectorsDevelop and implement financial strategies to optimise organisational performance and drive growthLead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
First degree in Business Commerce or a related field; professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is highly desirable5-7 years of experience in a similar finance management role, preferably within a corporate environmentProven expertise in financial insights and analytics, with a strong background in finance and value managementExcellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff
