Job Description
Duties/Responsibilities:Responsibilities include but not limited to:To deal with reservation enquiries, bookings, deposits, cancellations, confirmations, pro-forma’s etc. procedureTo deal with the waitlists and complimentary reservations as per procedureTo ensure that provisional bookings are followed upand Check for double bookingsMaximise occupancy with liaison of the reservationists, Reservations Manager and the General ManagerEnsure that all filing is up to dateMaintain guest history as per procedureEnsure credit policy is adhered toFollow up on travel agent voucher correspondence and other documentation that might be outstandingEnsure the smooth running of the reservations departmentCheck arrivals / Check groups – check payment receivedDaily reportsCheck up on no shows and cancellations

Education
Qualifications & Requirements:Proficient in Office and Email & Hospitality Reservations systemsA tertiary hospitality qualification will be beneficial
Experience
Minimum 3 years experience.ResRequest experience will be ideal
