To enable GIA's strategy 2025-2027 a new operating model has been finalized. A specific Executive role has been established to look after CIB and AR for our client. This role is currently vacant and being recruited for and in the interim a specific senior resource is required to oversee and manage the team and deliverables while elevating the assurance and insights to include strategic inputs and industry best practice.The resource will amongst others, but not limited to, be responsible for the following:Oversee and manage the CIB & AR portfolio and the team as well as senior stakeholders.Africa Regions Chief Internal Auditors (CIA's) will report to this role who will provide strategic oversight. The AR CIA's will be responsible for operational running of the subsidiary audit function.Ensure audit plan for remainder of 2025 is sufficient to discharge GIA's function and dutiesOversee, manage and review audits on the plan and ensure strategic insights and best practices are provided throughout the review (planning, fieldwork and reporting)Prepare and Review Cluster, Group and Board reporting where necessary for the CIA reviewAudits on the audit plan include markets, investment banking and regulatory reviews (SAMOS & JIBAR)
