descriptionData Processing Specialist (Excel) (Remote)IT – Analyst, Data ManagementCape Town – Western Cape ~ Johannesburg – Gauteng ~ Durban – KwaZulu Natal ~ RemoteENVIRONMENT:LOAD, validate, quality assure, store and share all data coming in and going out for an allocated portfolio of suppliers as the next Data Processing Specialist sought by a global Marketing Software House specializing in B2B products. You will be responsible for liaising with each supplier, conduct quality control checks to ensure that all data and reconciliations are valid and updated while creating and maintaining all supplier documentation. The ideal candidate must have a suitable Diploma/Certification in Computer Science/IT/Mathematics/Stats with at least 2+ years’ work experience in a similar role including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and its advanced features and functions; utilising standard practices for business communication and ability to create clear, effective, professional business documents and managing data quality, data security, and data ethics for critical data. DUTIES:Process –Track the workplace pipeline and progress against expectations.Ensure all datasets received are of the highest quality.Deliver datasets as early as possible and in accordance with the implemented delivery methods.Accurately and timeously import and refresh datasets.Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all data and reconciliations are valid and updated.Store data in the relevant data
