Full job descriptionThis well-established estate in the Cape Winelands is searching for an experienced Facilities Manager to join the team.Responsibilities include:Manage and oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of all company facilities, including buildings, equipment, and grounds.Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the proper functioning of all facilities.Lead and manage new infrastructure projects from inception to completion, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination of contractors andstakeholders.Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance and repairs.Manage property leases, contracts, and tenant relationships for all company-owned or leased properties.Oversee security measures for all facilities, including surveillance systems, access control, and emergency response protocols.Review, adapt and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of employees and assets.Implement and oversee health and safety management protocols specific to a hospitality property, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a safe environment for guests and staff.Manage a hospitality maintenance team responsible for maintaining the upkeep of guest-facing areas and amenities.Oversee IT network infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of all technology systems.
