Job Description
Our client, a highly reputable financial institution, is seeking Investment Officer - Project Finance X2 to join their dynamic team. As an Investment Officer, you will be responsible for executing the strategic objectives of the business in collaboration with the Transacting Head whilst being accountable to move investment opportunities / projects (provided by the Coverage Team)from early review to bankability.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering, and possess 3-5 years of experience in appraising, negotiating, and closing Project Finance, Corporate Finance, or Structured Finance transactions in a financial institution. You must also have experience in securing infrastructure investment deals in relevant sectors / geographies in Africa, and experience in initiating and developing new business strategies and opportunities to create a pipeline of development impact projects ensuring deal flow and bankability.
