Full job descriptionJob Description:Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain inventory levels of technical stores on board vesselsCoordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of suppliesInspect incoming shipments to ensure quality and accuracy of productsTrack and record all inventory transactionsMaintain a clean and organized technical store areaPrepare and submit reports on inventory levels and supply usageWork closely with other departments to ensure timely and efficient supply deliveryMonitor and control costs related to technical storesTrain and supervise junior storekeepers, if necessary
Responsibilities + Skills
Knowledge of technical supplies and equipment used on board vesselsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentMust be able to pass a background check and drug screeningMust be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
Education
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the maritime industry
