Job Description
A dynamic Retailer in Durban seeks an ambitious and proactive IT Manager whose core role will entail managing the infrastructure, systems, and applications that support the operations of the business. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all information technology systems and infrastructure. You will also implement security protocols, manage the IT Department’s budget to ensure cost-effective solutions while leading your team and providing mentorship and ensuring business continuity in the event of disruptions. The ideal candidate will need a Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science or similar field with suitable work experience in IT management, with a focus on the Retail sector. Applicants must also have strong knowledge of Retail-specific software and systems & proficiency in IT security and compliance.
