Full job descriptionA 5* Boutique Hotel with two outlets on the Island of Zanzibar is looking to employ an innovative Restauranteur with the following atributes : -ResponsibilitiesA minimum of 4 years expereicne as a manager in a free standing restaurant or boutique hotel restaurant.Hands on, operationally involved.Wokr hand in hand with the chef to improve offerings, create an atmosphere to ensure return business.Must have good guest experience – good communicator, welcoming and friendly.Someone with excellent staff skills – who is able to train on the job and be happy to do so.Must be ale to plan and work as a team, for the common goal of running the property.Be a people's person - get along with staff, guests and management.Ensure that costs are inline with budget and assist in lowering the costs without compromising quality.
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English, and possibly French, Italian and German.
Experience
4 years Senior management experience within a hotel or stand alone restaurant environment.
