Full job descriptionGuest Experience ManagementGuest Relations: Ensure that guests have a memorable and smooth safari experience, from arrival to departure. This includes addressing guest needs, ensuring that their expectations are met, and handling any issues or complaints.Itinerary Planning: Coordinate and organize personalized safari itineraries for guests, including game drives, walks, cultural tours, and other activities.Welcome and Briefing: Greet guests upon arrival and provide a comprehensive briefing on safety, the safari itinerary, lodge rules, and the wildlife they may encounter.Liaising with Guides: Collaborate with safari guides to ensure they provide excellent service and create tailored experiences based on guests' preferences.
Responsibilities + Skills
Guest Acquisition: Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the safari lodge or company and help attract new guests. This might involve attending trade shows, working with tour operators, and managing online presence.
Education
Promotions and Partnerships: Create special offers or packages to attract guests during the off-season or to boost bookings, and establish partnerships with travel agencies and other businesses in the tourism sector.
Experience
