Utengule Coffee Lodge, is seeking a fully educated Assistant Lodge Manager to join our team. A Country Lodge on the slopes of the mighty Mbeya range in Southern Tanzania, with spectacular views across the East African Rift Valley. As the Assistant Manager you will partner with the Lodge Manager, in overseeing all aspects of the lodge operations. You will be integral to the success of the lodge by ensuring that the team is aware of their requirements and continually aiming to exceed guest expectations.Key Responsibilities:Oversee day to day operations in coordination with the Lodge ManagerResponsible for ensuring the highest level of service by overseeing all aspects of service and service staffAssist with reception, guest liaison, arrival and departuresEnsure rooms, public areas and grounds are maintained to the highest standardsControlling function in all departmentsAssist with daily stock taking and monthly InventoriesAssist with procurement and logisticsManage, train and motivate the teamsImplement operational SOP’s
