Full job descriptionWe are a well-established wine farm based in Franschhoek. We are looking for a junior accommodation manager to join our team for the season ( September – April ). This is a great opportunity for a hospitality student to get some practical experience in the hospitality industry or for somebody already in the industry to grow. There is definitely potential for permanent employment as our farm is expanding.The position involves:Checking rooms after housekeeping has been done, making sure standards are being upheldStocktake – linen, amenities, stock for guest rooms etcAssisting with shopping/ordersReporting any maintenance issues to the maintenance teamDaily problem solvingDealing with guest requestsManaging a team of max 10 staff when the senior manager is offWorking from 8am - 5pm with a one-hour lunch (an advantage in the hospitality industry, as hours can be quite tough )
