Job Description
A Hotel, Lodge and Resort Group is looking for a Group Head of Sales and Marketing to be based at Head office in Cape Town. This is a new position for the company and is in line with them currently and dramatically beefing up the sales and marketing outputs, as they continue to grow and take on more hotels, lodges and resorts.Their rapid growth is requiring them to add this position to ensure effective sales and marketing management, and they need to ensure that the management and marketing agreements are watertight and that they can meet and exceed budgets.
Responsibilities + Skills
Must have multi-property Head of Sales experience should have recently worked for a mid-scale hotel group dealing with predominantly domestic corporate, leisure, government, PCO, travel consortia and conference guest profile.Must be a roll up sleeves and get stuck in and hands on leader, as opposed to being an office bound leader.
Education
Must have own transport.Must have a minimum of 3 CEO (Minimum MD) personal references.
