Job Description
DescriptionResponsible for the overall Maintenance of lodge, and all other facilities, including the upkeep of buildings, fixtures, furniture and equipment, landscaping and gardens, and recreational facilities.Ensure effective stock control procedures and methods are enforced and that the maintenance expense budget is achieved.Ensure all work is completed in line with company standards.Ensure a comprehensive Preventative Maintenance Program for lodge and farm is implemented and that all essential equipment is serviced and maintained in a manner which prolongs the lifespan of all equipment.Communicates with guests and conducts regular satisfaction checks and provide feedback.Communicates with management and provides feedback on any issues or routine maintenance that needs to be scheduled that would interfere with guest satisfaction
Responsibilities + Skills
Drivers licence (essential)MS Office Suite- Knowledge of Stock Control and Store systemsHR knowledge- appraisals, disciplinaries etcHardworking, hands on individual with sober habits
Education
Grade 12 (essential)Minimum 5 years experience in a similar supervisory role at a 4/5* luxury lodge/reserve/ hotel environment
