Job Description
The test manager will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all software testing activities in the company. The test manager should have a thorough understanding of the requirements and expectations of both business stakeholders as well as users/customers. The ideal candidate will understand how to create realistic user scenarios, identify bugs, perform automated UI tests, run regression tests against production systems, analyze data and make recommendations based on results.Duties and responsibilities:Lead Test strategy definition in conjunction with programme and business stakeholdersLead Test plan definition in conjunction with all relevant delivery and business stakeholdersSet standards for and support PM's in driving out test case definition sufficient to support each stage of testing for all new, modified or otherwise testable capabilities.Martialing of all test resources, including core test capability and business or analyst capability seconded to undertake test activity.Drive definition of test environments required, internally and externally.Drive establishment of necessary test environments in conjunction with the IT organization and vendorsDefine and apply test gating to all phases.Provide test execution tracking and MI at test scenario, test group and test phase level
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Marketing requiredExpected to work on the testing side of a business, such as pharmaceutical and biotech companies
Experience
Experience with Agile methodologies preferredMust be able to manage multiple test types
