Job Description
As a testing manager, you'll be responsible for all aspects of quality assurance and testing within the company. You will work closely with developers to ensure that our software is tested thoroughly before it's deployed into production. You should have experience in designing and executing test plans for both web applications and mobile apps, as well as an understanding of how to write automated tests. You should also have experience in QA processes such as requirements gathering, bug tracking systems etc., along with an ability to communicate clearly with others across the organisation so they understand what needs to be done.Duties and responsibilities:Establish, build and maintain collaborative working relationships with relevant internal stakeholders.Build and maintain positive and value-adding relationships with relevant external stakeholders.Scan the environment to ensure a clear understanding of stakeholder needsProactively interact with stakeholders to determine their needs and deliver on them accordingly.Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to identify and evaluate performance barriers and success in order to continuously improve on the service delivery.Work in collaboration with colleagues in the centre to ensure timeous delivery of the workManage the creation and production of;Test plans for IT projectsTest cases and test procedures for all products/servicesTest scripts for various test casesTest reportsEnsure that the necessary IT environments for quality assurance are in place, including:SIT environments for application and infrastructure projects

Education
Minimum qualification of a Degree (NQF7) in IT or related qualificationTesting certification at Practitioner level
Experience
7 years experience managing IT quality assurance within an IT environment4 years at middle management/supervisory level
