Job Description
ABOUT THE POSITION We are looking for an experienced and well-organized Banqueting and Sales Coordinator who has had previous work experience in 4- and 5- star hotels/resorts, dealing with conferences, weddings and events. Scope & General purpose: • Dealing with group & conference enquiries, from initial request, site inspection, quotation to finalization of program and on-site co-ordination. • Wedding co-ordination from initial request, site inspection, quotation and on-site co-ordination of the event. • Assist in the preparation and execution of property site inspections, trade shows and sales trips • Assist with sales and marketing of the function venues and offerings • Ensure the adequacy of sales-related equipment or material • Respond to queries and assist our customers when requested • Store and sort data in electronic form and present reports Requirements: • Proven experience in banqueting and sales co-ordination • Good computer skills (MS Office, MS Excel, PowerPoint) • Proficiency in English • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problemsolving • Works well and accurately under pressure A team player with high level of dedication SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS Microsoft Office Property PMS systems Nebula would be a bonus
