Full job descriptionHigh end Game Lodge in the Waterberg region is looking for a F&B Manager. The F&B Manager assists the Lodge Manager in all phases of the operation as well as administration and assumes complete responsibility for the restaurant in his absence.To ensure the smooth and effective running of the restaurant operations.To provide overall floor supervision for all employees working in F&B.Supervises adherence to the regulations and to the F&B policies and procedures.Maintains as much guest contact as possible and reasonableRemains alert to possible guests’ dissatisfaction and handles any unresolved guest complaint.Carries out spot checks on cleanliness, Mis-en-place, hygiene, and grooming.Trains and supervises staff in proper serving techniques, etiquette, sanitation, and personal appearance.
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
Hotel School diploma or equivalent in Hospitality/Food Service/F&B Management a must.
Experience
Solid experience as an F&B Manager in a 5* environment, with proven history of delivering unique, memorable, and exceptional guest experiences.Attention to detail and maintaining a guest centric approach in everything.
