Full job descriptionThis exciting 150-seater restaurant opening on a popular wine estate in the Durbanville Winelands area offers elegant South Africa inspired cuisine.ProStaffSelect are in search of an efficient & highly organised OPERATIONS MANAGER:KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate daily front of house restaurant and wine tasting operationsDeliver superior service and maximize guest's satisfactionRespond effectively to guests complainsOrganize rosters and supervise shiftsEnsure compliance with sanitation and safety regulationsResponsible for stock flow and budgetingEngaged with the guests and responding to their needs as requiredTrainings of staff on new ideas and itemsManage all staff related issues, performance management, disciplinary issues and grievances etcCreate innovative ideas to promote and advertise the restaurantManage a close relationship with the Owners and back of house staffOverseeing efficient cash-ups and managing budget with the finance departmentAdministrative duties including record keeping, processing emails and meeting with suppliers
